The trademark as a business asset: the numbers, protection and two proposals
Ioannis Psarakis, Lecturer, LL.M (III), PhD Cand.
A decision was issued by the Athens Court of Appeal, which rejected an appeal by an opposing party and upheld the decision of the court of first instance, which annulled a payment order issued. The reason for the annulment was that the payment order, issued by the seller against the buyer, our client, was based on bills of exchange covering part of the price for the sale of shares in a limited liability company (LLC) that was not included in the notarial transfer document, and thus for a price agreement that was not in the necessary notarial form (non-contractual price).
